Dandelions, alligator and more served up at Taste of Saskatchewan

Have you ever wanted to try eating crispy dandelions, alligator, or kampoonggi?

Get your appetite ready because Saskatoon restaurants are coming out to feed its residents this week.

The annual Taste of Saskatchewan festival got underway in downtown Saskatoon on Tuesday. It runs until Sunday, July 17 in Kiwanis Park.

Food tickets are $2.50 each, while a liquor ticket will cost you $6 each.

The event also features musical performances daily from open to close. Find a list of the performers here.

Here are the hours for Taste of Saskatchewan:

• Tuesday, July 12: 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 13: 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Thursday, July 14: 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Friday, July 15: 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Saturday, July 16: 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Sunday, July 17: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
