It's been 30 years to the day that a jury convicted Saskatchewan politician Colin Thatcher of first-degree murder.
In a case that shocked people in the province and across the country, the Moose Jaw MLA and former cabinet minister received an automatic life sentence for the 1983 shooting and bludgeoning of his ex-wife JoAnn Wilson.
Thatcher, 76, has always maintained his innocence. Hewas paroled in 2006.
