Mother of Haven Dubois meets with Regina police

The mother of Haven Dubois met with the Regina Police to review an investigation into her son's death. A second meeting is scheduled for February 4.

RichelleDubois,the mother of 14-year-oldHavenDubois, met with the Regina Police Services to review the investigation into her son'sdeath on Thursday.

The meeting came afterDuboisspent threedays in front of the Regina Police Stationdemanding to know more about what happened to her son.Duboisslept inside her vanin an effort to pressure police to speak with her.

Haven's body was found in a Regina creek in theeast end of the city last spring.

A coroner's report was released this past Mayindicating that the cause of death was drowning and that he had traces of marijuana in his system.

Police have ruled out foul play, but Duboisstill has questions.

In a statementreleased through the Saskatchewan Coalition Against Racism,Duboissaid "Deputy Chief Dean Rae has given us his assurance that the RPS is committed to meeting with us until all of our questions have been answered."

Another meeting is scheduled for February 4.
