Elderly woman in Regina General Hospital given bath after family complains

Marianne Selinger says that her 94 year-old grandmother was bathed yesterday for the first time in two weeks at the Regina General Hospital.

The woman's family claims she had not been given a bath in two weeks

Marianne Selinger wants to make sure that her 94-year-old grandmother is being properly taken care of.

The granddaughter of the 94 year-old woman who claimed she was not bathed for two weeks says her grandmafinallyreceived a bath.

Marianne Selinger said that when she went to visit her grandmotherafterwards, she was in a much better mood.

"She got a bath in the morning. They came in and said that they wanted to give her a bath and she was happy about that," said Selinger.

"She had a smile on her face and you could tell that it was refreshing for her."

Selinger thanks the staff at the General Hospital, and is appreciativeher grandmother is getting thecare she requested.
