Peter Nyland has been searching relentlessly for his niece, Danielle Nyland, ever since she went missing.

He and other family members and friends have been sweeping through bush and swamp inthe Holbein area, the last place Danielle was seen drinking with friends onJune 8 at about 7 a.m. CST.

Peter has been taking search parties out every day from 8 a.m. until late in the evening, yet still has not found a trace of his niece.

"Be nice to find a shoe or her coat or anything out here. Just nothing, hey?" said Peter. "Each day, as time goes on here, it's getting a lot bleaker. It's been nine days now."

Peter said it isn't like Danielle to just disappear like this for so long, whose23rdbirthday was a couple of days ago.

"She was a real outgoing person, real bright, real pretty girl. She had a lot going for her, has a lot going for her."

Danielle's mother, Lori Nyland, said the RCMPtold her they are getting closer to finding Danielle. She said they are currently interviewing all of the people Danielle was with that morning, including Raymond Knife, whom the RCMPlocatedafter asking for the public's assistance.
