A cleanupwas underway at the Co-op RefineryMonday, after an early morning fire at the Regina facility.

It broke around 12:30 a.m. CST in a 3,000-square-foot coker pump house, according to Vic Huard, Federated Co-operatives Ltd. vice president of corporate affairs.

The fire was extinguished bycompany firefighters in half an hour and there were no injuries, Huard said.

The Regina fire department is now looking into the cause.

"Are we concerned? Sure, absolutely," Huard said. "Should the public be concerned about public safety? No, I don't think they should be. I guess this is an example. Incidents happen. But all our systems worked."

In October, 2011, a fire at the same refinery sent seven people to hospital with burns.
