The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced Kerry Joseph will start against the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL Western Conference semifinal.

Leading up to Sunday's game, there were questions about who would start at quarterback for the team.

Riders head coach Corey Chamblin ended any speculation on Thursday, when he announced Joseph will get the start over incumbentDarian Durant, who will dress for the game.

"Kerry Joseph will be the start for Sunday. It's been named, no more charades there. So yeah, Kerry's done a good job and we'll just move forward that way," said Chamblin.

Durant, the team's star quarterback, hasn't played since suffering an elbow injury in September.

For the first time since getting hurt, he'll be in uniform on the sidelines: meaning he could be called upon if needed.

The host Eskimos are also starting their back up Matt Nichols. Regular starter Mike Reilly will dress, but is also battling injury.
