CBC Saskatchewan to host leaders' debate

CBC Saskatchewan will host and broadcast a leaders' debate during the election campaign.

The debate, featuring Saskatchewan Party leader Brad Wall and NDP leader Cam Broten, is set for Wednesday, March23 starting a few minutes after 6 p.m. CST.

CBC is part of a broadcast partnership pool which also includes CTV and Global.

The two leaders will face questions from a panel of reporters, including CBC's Stefani Langenegger.

Follow the debate:

  • Live on CBC Television (check your TV service provider for channel).
  • Live on CBC Radio One (540 AM; 102.5 FM-Regina; 94.1 FM-Saskatoon)
  • Live-streaming online at CBC's Saskatchewan and Saskatoon websites.

In the days ahead of the debate, the panel members posing questions will be looking for suggestions on what to ask.
