Liberals 3rd place in Sask. election, Greens slide to 4th
The Liberal Party was able to edge back to 3rd place with a full slate
The Liberal Party has taken back its historic third place spot in the Saskatchewan election, sending the Green Party back to fourth.
The Liberals got 3.6 per cent of the vote in the 2016 provincial election, bumping out the Greens. The Green partyslid nearly a full percentage point to 1.9 per cent of the vote from 2.8 per cent in 2011.
Neither party won a seat in the legislature.

Last election, the Liberal Party ran just nine candidates, losing much of its support and garnering only 0.6 per cent of the provincial vote.
This time around, the Liberals ran a full slate.Darrin Lamoureux, Liberal Party leader, got 10.9 per cent of the vote in his home riding of Regina Pasqua.
Green Party Leader Victor Lau got six per cent of the vote in his constituency of Regina Douglas Park. This was a smallincrease of 0.1 percentage point from last time.
