Man, 20, in stable condition after shooting in Regina

A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in Regina's North Central neighbourhood Tuesday night.

Gang unit among police investigating case

Aman is recoveringin hospital after being shot in Regina's North Central neighbourhood Tuesdaynight.

Police were called tothe 1200 block of McTavish St. at 7:20 p.m. CST.

There they found a man, 20, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he's in stable condition.

The police service'sstreet gang unit, forensic identification unit, and uniformed officersare investigating.

Police said the shootingisn't related to the SWAT team incident on the1500 block of Cameron St. the same night. Police executed a search warrant and took several people into custody.
