Man injured at downtown Regina nightclub

A man is in hospital after an assault at a Regina night club early Friday the second such incident from that morning.

Earlier same morning, 2 shot at different nightclub

A man was taken to hospital after being injured at a Regina nightclub in the downtown on Friday morning. At a separate incident 1 1/2 hours earlier at a different bar, two men were shot. (CBC)

A man is in hospital after an assault at a Regina night club early Friday the second such incident from that morning.

Regina police said they were called to the club on the 2100 block of Broad St. after getting a report of an injured person.

Police didn't name the club, but the only nightclub on that block is the Hookah Lounge at 2115 Broad St.

An injured man, 24, was sent to hospital. Police said his condition is serious but stable.

They didn't say if a weapon was used.

Earlier in the night, police were called to another bar on the east side of the city.

Two men were shot at the Pump Roadhouse and are now in hospital. Police were called at 1:10 a.m. CST.

Police have not said if the two incidents are connected.

Nobody has been arrested.
