Saskatchewan Roughrider fans asked for a legacy program for the new stadium and now they have the opportunity to be a part of one.

The CFL club has announced details for their Build the Pride capital campaign.

For a minimum $300 donation, you can have your name permanently etched on one of three granite walls that will be erected in a plaza area outside the new Mosaic Stadium.

With this legacy project, the Riders are hoping to bite off a large chunk of their contribution towards the $278 million facility.

"As a club we're contributing over $45 million towards the stadium so the funds raised through that will directly support this facility." said Riders' president Craig Reynolds at a Thursday morning media gathering on the site of the future plaza area.

There will be three donation levels for fans to consider.

$300, $1500 and $5000 with the only difference being the size of the engraving of your name.

Each level-up gains you approximately 6 millimetresor a quarter of an inch.

Donors will also receive a frameable recognition certificate.

The Riders executive for business and marketing says they will cap the number of names at 3000.

"If the demand goes really really high I think we will sit back.Once we get to that 3000 name levelwe need to cut that off and we may need to look at a waiting list and decide if we expand." said Gregg Sauter.

"One side of each of the walls will be communitythemed art work, the other side of the wall will be recognizing fans who have contributed to our capital campaign."

Interested fans are asked to go to a websiteto complete the donation process.

The funds will flow throughthe South Sask Community Foundation which generally supports local charitable projects.

Through the SSCF, Sauter says "This will be a charitable contribution so you will get a tax receipt."

The plaza area with the three granite walls and 3000 engraved names is expected to be completed by next June.
