On Wednesday, the media got a sneak peek of all the progress that's been made on the $278-million facility that will be the new home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

PCL Construction has wrapped up its work, although some of the finedetails remain.

Mayor Michael Fougere said the facility, in addition to being the home of the football club, will also play host to concerts, community groups, amateur sports and even wedding receptions.

"This is a community gathering place," Fougere said. "It's not just for the Riders. We're proud the Riders are here. Yes, they are the big tenant here, but other things will happen here. It will be a great meeting place."
