Operation Red Nose campaign begins

The annual Operation Red Nose campaign, where volunteers give rides to drivers who've been drinking, has begun.

The annual Operation Red Nose campaign, where volunteers give rides to drivers who've been drinking, has begun.

The service will be offered from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31in 102 Canadian communities, including four in Saskatchewan: Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and the Battlefords.

There will be a phone line and an app to contact volunteer drivers.

Although the service is free, the organization accepts donations from users, which go towardlocal youth projects.

The group is still signing up volunteers through its website.
