The last of six escapees from the Regina Correctional Centre was still being sought on Friday as police circulated new images of the man.

The last of six escapees from the Regina Correctional Centre was still being sought on Friday as police circulated new images of the man.

The RCMP distributed three more pictures of Ryan Agecoutay who broke out of the jail on Aug. 24. The images include photographs of distinctive tattoos on his hands.

Agecoutay was in the remand section of the jail, awaiting additional pre-trial judicial processes relating to a charge of aggravated assault. Agecoutay is accused in an incident in Regina's north-central neighbourhood in April 2007 in which a man was seriously injured.

According to court records, Agecoutay may also use the surname Bellegarde.

He is just a few days away from turning 26. His birthday is Sept. 26.

Parole board documents, obtained by CBC, say Agecoutay was the leader of a violent riot in another correctional centre where he was housed in the past.

The same documents indicate Agecoutay hears voices in his head, but that he has declined to talk to a psychologist.

Agecoutay also has numerous gang affiliations inside and outside of prison.
