Saskatchewan RCMP say they continue to search for two potentially armed suspects involved in stealing a vehicle at gunpoint outside Prince Albert, Sask., on Wednesday.

RCMP say the theft of the white truck in the RM of Buckland was reported to officersaround 10 a.m. CST that day.

Soon after, officers tracked down the vehicle but weren't able to pull it over, despite help from the surrounding detachments.

Further investigation led RCMP to connect the incident to another armed robbery on the Little Red River First Nation on Aug. 7. That resulted in charges against Glen Frederick Halkett, 25, of Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Halkett, who police say also goes by the nickname Baby Glen, is considered armed and dangerous. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Halkett is described by RCMP as five feetsix inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe Halkett may be in the communities of Little Red River First Nation, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, Prince Albert or Shellbrook.

He, along with anyone else involved in this incident, may be travelling on foot, RCMP said.

RCMP did not provide a description of the other suspect.

Anyone who sees or hears from Halkett, or notices any suspicious activity, is asked to contact Saskatchewan RCMP at 306-310-7267. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
