Saskatchewan Roughriders out of playoff contention

It's official the Saskatchewan Roughriders have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

It's officialthe Saskatchewan Roughriders have been mathematically eliminated fromthe playoffs.

Edmonton's 40-20 victory over Montreal on Monday was the final nail in the coffin for the team, which is inlast place in its division with a record of four wins and 10 losses.

While it was a dismal season for the most part, the Riders have been on a streak lately, having won the last three games in a row.

The2016 season continueswith the next game Oct. 15in Toronto against the Argos.

After that, it'll be the lasttwo home games ever to be played at old Mosaic Stadium. The Riders move to the new MosaicStadium in 2017.
