Saskatchewan's top 10 burgers chosen by CBC followers

From small town stops to fine dining delicacies, Saskatchewan residents love their burgers.

May 28 was International Hamburger Day and to celebrate, we asked you who makes the best burger in the province. And the votes came pouring in to the CBC Saskatchewan Twitter and Facebook pages all day.

Little Country Grill

Where: Victoire

Nominated by several people on the CBC Saskatchewan Facebook page, this small town favourite feeds hungry locals and lake-bound travellers. Elise Lajeunesse wrote, "Soooooo good!!! Mozza bacon burger supreme!!!!!!" Find their Facebook page here.

Bushwakker Brewpub

Where: 2206 Dewdney Ave., Regina

Fuddrucker's

Where: 2910 Eighth St. E., Saskatoon

Whether you live in Saskatoon or make the road trip from Regina, Fuddrucker's is a burger staple. The Saskatoon restaurant is the only remaining Fudd's in Canada. Find more on their website.

The Ice House

Where: 60 Great Plains Rd., Emerald Park

AndyGoodsontweeted, "For sheer mass alone, the Glacier Burger at the Ice House in White City has its own gravitational pull."Not everyone is willing to attempt the enormous Glacier Burger, but all the options at the Ice House were enough to crack the top 10. Find more on their website.

Prairie Harvest Cafe

Where:2917 Early Dr., Saskatoon

LauraNegraeffset the bar high, describing Prairie Harvest's as, "Life-changing." Prairie Harvest Cafe tweeted CBC saying, "Turducken is our most popular, however, we instead are featuring a Chicken Bacon Ranch burger with house made hot sauce at the moment."Find more on their website.

Ace Burger/Congress (Saskatoon)

Where: 215 Second Ave. S., Saskatoon (Congress)

Ace Burger is the only food truck to crack the top 10. Since the street meat staple is "Brought to you by the folks at Congress Beer House" and Congress itself had several nominations, we combined to two. Harvest Eatery and Freshmarket

Where: 492 Centre St., Shaunavon

Watch out Hayley Wickenheiser, the Harvest Eatery and Fresh Market is quickly becoming the pride of Shaunavon. The restaurant's Twitter account (@EatHarvest) made a strong sales pitch, suggesting "the Harvest Burger w/ local beef, fully loaded, on a house baked bun."Find more on their website.

Stacked Gourmet Burger Bar

Where: 152 Second Ave. S., Saskatoon

With a nearly endless burger menu, Stacked is living up to its name.@meggyabratweeted, "I love their mushroom Swiss burger and my boyfriend loves the Kobe burger. Best burger I've ever had."Find more on their Facebook page.

Where: 100 North Hague Access, Hague
