Saskatoon police release sketch of sexual assault suspect

Saskatoon police have released a composite sketch of a man they are looking for in connection with a sexual assault last fall.

The incident happened Oct. 6, 2012.

Police were called to the Royal University Hospital where a woman told them she had been attacked in an alley on the 300 block of 33rd Street W.

She had been grabbed from behind, pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted by an unknown male.

He then ran away. She was able to locate her friends who drove her to the hospital.

The suspect has a vertical scar in the middle of his left eyebrow, which may help identify him.

He also has a snake tattoo on his hand and arm.
