Scout is a four-month-old pup born with no front legs. But Jamie Parker, Scout's owner and the founder of Bright Eyes Dog Rescue, said he doesn't let that get him down.

"He comes at it head-on," Parker said. "It doesn't really faze him that much. he gets around pretty much just fine. He has some troubles here and there, but he's figuring it out as he grows."

Parker adopted Scout and his three-legged sister after another dog rescue contacted her.

"I saw him and I fell in love immediately," she said.

Parker posted some photos of Scout on Facebook, saying she would like to get him a cart eventually. It wasn't long before someone contacted her offering to help.

Now, thanks to a handy mechanic from Mr. Transmission, Scout has a much easier time getting around with a brand new doggy wheelchair.

"He actually took to it pretty well," Parker said. "He kind of hops like a kangaroo right now. So he was sort of figuring out to do one foot after the other."

Scout is now the special ambassador for Bright Eyes Dog Rescue.

"I think he'll make a great therapy dog," she said. "I'd love to get him into hospitals and working with children and adults with disabilities."
