A 21-year-old Regina man is seriously injured after a shooting on Thursday.

Police were dispatched to hospital at about 8:15 p.m. CST on Thursdayafter a report that a man came toemergency with a gunshot wound.

Police say 10 minutes earlier, the victim had been at a business on the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue. It's believed the man was outside the business when someone in a nearbyvehicle shot him.

The type of firearm is unknown. The victim stayed at the hospital to be treated.

Police have collected evidence from the victim and the business in their investigation. At this time the suspect has not been found.
