A child who was in a truck that was stolen in northeastern Saskatchewan is back home safe with her mother after Mounties chased the thief into Manitoba.

RCMP say the pursuit beganTuesdayafternoon in Creighton, Sask., when a man took the truck and headed for The Pas.
