Wascana Creek water levels rising as crews open Albert St. weir

Water levels will be even higher on Wascana Creek in Regina later today.

The city opened up the Albert Street weir this morning, allowing more water to flow out of Wascana Lake.

Crews removed the logs from under the Albert Memorial Bridge starting at 8:30 a.m. CST until about noon.
