3 charged with attempted murder in relation to February assault in Saskatoon

Three people are facing charges of attempted murder in connection with an assault and unlawful confinement that occurred in Saskatoon in February.

Three people are facing charges in connection with an assault and unlawful confinement that occurred in Saskatoon in February.

According to Saskatoon police, officers were called to a back alley in the 300 block of Avenue R South on Feb9. The caller said they had seen an injured person lying on the ground and three individuals running from the scene.

Officers located a 23-year-old woman suffering from serious injuries. She wastransported to hospital and later released.

Officers then followed evidenceto an apartment in the 1700 block of 20th Street West where they believed anassault and unlawful confinement took place.

In a media release issued Thursday, SPS said two men, both aged 26, and a 24-year-old woman have been charged with attempted murder.

According to a police spokesperson, both male suspects have been arrested, while the female suspect has not yet been located.
