A 25-year-old man is facing a voyeurism charge after he was accused of filming a woman and four girls while they used the washroom at a gas station in Saskatoon.

Saskatoon police announced the charge in a news release Friday. Police said they consulted the Crown before the charge was laid.

The man turned himself into police on Thursday.

The incident allegedly happened Sunday at a business on the 400 block of Circle Drive, where the woman became suspicious of the man's behaviour. Police said the woman thought the man was acting strange before she and the girls went into the washroom.

The woman reported that she spotted a cellphone hidden in the damaged ceiling tiles of the room.

The phone is in police possession and they are in the process of obtaining a search warrant.
