Circle Drive reopened after 2-vehicle crash near College Drive

Two people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Circle Drive Friday morning, which restricted traffic for several hours.

Two people were taken to hospitalafter a two-vehicle collision on Circle Drive Friday morning, which restricted traffic for several hours.

Police and fire crews were called to Circle Drive between 108th Street and College Drive at 11:40 a.m. CST.

According to the fire department, a northbound car had crossed the ditch and hit a southbound car on the driver's side.

There was one person in each car. Both were taken to hospital

Saskatoon police said a 26-year-old man driving the southbound car had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. A 21-year-old woman who was driving the northbound vehicle was found to be at fault and was charged with driving without due care and attention.

Saskatoon police restricted traffic to one lane as the collision analyst unit investigated. Traffic was fully reopened by 3 p.m.
