Fans invited to tour the new $278M home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders

Construction of the new $278-million Mosaic Stadium is crossing the finish line and this weekend, fans anxiously awaiting its doors to open can get a sneak peek of the new home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Construction of the new $278-million Mosaic Stadium is crossing the finish lineand this weekend, fans anxiously awaiting its doors to open can get a sneak peek of the new home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

On Saturday, the stadium project welcomes everyone to take a free tour of the new Mosaic Stadiumfrom 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST. Officials are calling it'Sneak Peak 2.0', after members of the media browsed the new facility earlier this week.

While the tours are free, non-perishable food items and cash donations are being accepted at the door for the Regina Food Bank.

The tours include opportunities for the public to access both the east and northeast concourses of the stadium, take photos and learn more about the multi-purpose stadium.

Video stations and a thank-you banner for the project contractor PCL will be available for guests to sign and show their appreciation.

To accommodate increased traffic for the event, the portion of Elphinstone Street adjacent to the stadium site, as well as a section of 10th Avenue, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
