We set a new record in 2015, with nearly 3.9 million visits to Saskatchewan's provincial parks.-MarkDocherty, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister

"We set a new record in 2015, with nearly 3.9 million visits to Saskatchewan's provincial parks," Culture and Sport Minister Mark Docherty saidin a news release.

"The opportunity to spend time with family and friends in a beautiful, natural setting is very important to the people of our province, and is only growing in popularity. We are proud to offer high-quality experiences and are always looking at ways that we can enhance our offerings."

The perennial program offers the opportunity for campers to secure a campsite in the 20 provincial parks and recreational sites from mid-May to the end of August at a discounted price from the regular nightly camping rate.

However, as compared to last year's rates, the seasonal fees will be marginally increased ranging from $30-$75 more than prices in 2015.
