Saskatoon gang member charged with allegedly pointing rifle at man walking by house

A Saskatoon man who self-identified as a gang member is accused of pointing a rifle at a man walking by a house.

A Saskatoon man who self-identified as a gang member is charged with allegedly pointing a rifleat a man walking by a house on the 200 block of Avenue M North.

Ithappened just after midnight on Oct. 1.

Several suspects took off when police arrived, including the man with the loaded rifle. Six suspects were initially detained as a result of a firearms investigation.

Four were released later with no charges.One man was arrested in possession of a illicit drug and breached on his court conditions.

The man with the rifle is facing 10 criminal charges including several firearm offences. No one was injured during the incident.

Both men will appear in provincial court on Tuesday.
