Volunteers offer hot meal to homeless in downtown Saskatoon

A pizza delivery in downtown Saskatoon Saturday helped make sure that those less fortunate had a hot meal to eat.

Volunteers with Humanity First, a non-profit charitable organization which aims to improve the quality of life for those who are poor and vulnerable, passed out pizza in their "Feed the Homeless" drive.

The effort was part of the group's "Actof Kindness" program.

The group said that over a four-hour period, it handed out 100 pizzas, totaling500 slices.
