Kandace Singbeil's family hopes to raise awareness about her disappearance and get more information from the public.

AsKandiceSingbeil'sdisappearance nears a significantanniversary, family members and the Saskatoon Police Service are asking for the public's help.

On Dec. 26, seven months will have passed sinceSingbeilwentmissing.

The 33-year-old woman was last seen riding her distinctive "Cruiser Classic" bicycle in downtown Saskatoon lastMay. No one has heard from her since.

"Somebody knows something," said Singbeil's mother, Pauline. "Nobody just disappears."

"Part of the suspicious nature of this case is that she did disappear without any contact with her family or her children," said Acting Staff Sgt. Tyson Lavallee.

Lavallee is asking anyone with information to come forward to police.

"People may not realize the importance, or may just not realize this is something going on," said Lavallee. "I think that's part of the reason why we're here today. To let the public know that there's a family that's desperately searching for their daughter."

Singbeil's two young children were at the press conference. Singbeil's mother says the past year has been very difficult for them.

"They are so desperately missing their mom," said Pauline Singbeil. "Her son will be nineyearsold next week, and it is very hard for him to understand why she can't be there to celebrate his birthday and Christmas.'

Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon police.
