First Nations Bank collecting donations for La Loche

The First Nation Bank of Canada is collecting money to supporting the community of La Loche. All proceeds will be donated to La Loche Community School athletic programs.

Donations are being accepted until the end of February

The First Nations Bank of Canada is collecting money for the community of La Loche, following the tragic events last month that lead to the deaths of four people.

"Canadians from coast to coast to coast have been touched by this tragedy. In our case, some of our employees are originally from La Loche and many of our customers, in other regions of Canada, have expressed a desire to help," explained Keith Martell, CEO of First Nations Bank, in a press release.

Donations to La Loche will be accepted at all branches until the end of Feb.

The contributed funds will be donated to theLa Loche Community School athletic programs.
