Man gets 9 months for drunk driving crash on Traffic Bridge
Nicholas David Glum pleads guilty 24 hours after crash
A Saskatoon man is going to jail after pleading guilty to causing a head-on collision Monday while driving drunk across the Traffic Bridge.
Nicholas David Glum, 26, pleaded guiltyto the impaired driving charges when he appeared in provincial court on Tuesday.
Glum was sentenced to nine months in jail, three years probation and then a three-year driving prohibition.
According to city police, the collision happened Monday when Glum's Ford Explorer hit a Mini Cooper.
Two men, age 57 and 63, were in the small car. Their injuries were not serious.
The collisionclosed down traffic on the bridge for eight hours.
