Michael Stensrud named chair of Saskatoon Regional Health Authority board

It was announced today thatMichael Stensrud is the new chair of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority (SRHA) board.

Stensrud, a board member since 2009, replaces Jim Rhode, who stepped down from the role on January 10.Megan Rumbold was named vice-chair.

Stensrud is president and general manager of Miners Construction Co. Ltd. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cosmopolitan Industries and is secretary-treasurer of Airline Resorts and Hotels.

A Saskatoon Health Region press release said he has a long history of volunteering on boards for community-based organizations that support people with intellectual and physical challenges.

Rumboldhas served as the interim vice-chairperson since last year and has sat on the board since2012.She owns and operates a grain farm and anindependent crop protection retail operation.
