Missing 85-year-old man found dead: Sask. RCMP

RCMP say an 85-year-old man who was reported missing in the Choiceland, Sask., area over the long weekend has been found dead. His death is not considered suspicious.

RCMP in northeast Saskatchewan say an 85-year-old man who was reported missing in the Choicelandarea over the long weekendhas been found dead.

Smeaton RCMP said, following searches from emergency responders and volunteers,the discovery was made around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Mounties noted the death is deemed non-suspicious, as they do not believe foul play was involved.

The man's vehicle was found around 1 p.m. Saturday on a quad trail14 kilometres north of Choiceland, according to a news release sent out Sunday afternoon.

RCMP said the man's family has been notified of his death.

Choiceland is locatedabout 100 kilometres northeast of Prince Albert.
