The NDP has won a tight race in Saskatchewans northern riding of Desneth-Missnippi-Churchill River.

The NDP has takenSaskatchewan's northern riding of Desneth-Missnippi-Churchill River by a slim margin of 70 votes.
Throughout the night, the colours for the riding on the results mapalternated between blue, orange and red an electoral dogfight among the main parties, all three of which had an indigenous candidate running in this riding.
The NDP's Georgina Joliboiswon with10,300 votesoverLiberal candidate Lawrence Joseph with 10,230.
The incumbent Conservative candidate Rob Clarke trailed in third place with9,110.
