Prince Albert relief concert to raise funds for fire evacuees

A relief concert is scheduled to take place in Prince Albert as more than 5,000 wildfire evacuees continue to seek refuge in temporary shelters.

The Prince Albert Grand Council will be hosting the Beautiful North Relief Concert this Sunday July 5at the Kinsmen Park.

The entertainment will begin at 2 p.m. CST and will include performances by over 40 artists. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Items received will be dispersed within the Prince Albert Grand Council's evacuation centre. Funds will also be used for activities such as bingo, games and puzzles for the evacuated youth and Elders.
