Saskatoon's mayor and city council will be asked to approve changes today to its agreement with the developer of a $300 millionhotel-condo-office complex on River Landing's Parcel Y.

Saskatoon-based Victory Majors wants a Regina-based company, Greystone Managed Investments Inc., to take on an interest in the project of more than 49 per cent.

The developer also wants the go ahead to build the project in phases, and to redefine it as a "mixed use development which may include" one or more office and commercial phases, a hotel phase and a residential phase.

And it wants to be able to subdivide and sell parts of the land to others to complete any approved development without having to ask the city.
