Sources say that members of the Terror Squad street gang recognized Stoneyon stage Friday. They left the club and returned wearing their colours. And that's when the mayhem started in the small, basement club.

Police say that sometime after 1 a.m. CST, someone sprayed bear mace on the stage, and then another man pulled out a sawed-off .22 calibre Ruger rifle.

This man was wrestled to ground by staff and held for police. Officerscharged a 19-year-old man with multiple firearm-related offenses. He appeared in court this morning and will back Tuesday for a bail hearing.

A 33-year-old man was found outside the business in medical distress and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in stable condition.

The is no information about what led to the attack, though earlier police said they do not believe it was a random act.
