A 33-year-old man from Delmas, Sask., is facing three charges related to the alleged downloading and sharing of child pornography over the internet.

The charges stem from a Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit investigation that began in February of this year.

On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Delmas, where computer devices were sized.

An arrest was made "a short time" later and the man was released onconditions.

The suspect has been charged with possessing, distributing and accessing child pornography and is scheduled to appear in provincial court in North Battleford on Dec. 11.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit, which includes officers from the RCMP and the police services in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert, investigates crimes relating to the abuse or exploitation of children on the Internet.
