Crown will not appeal Stanley trial verdict, says Sask. public prosecutions

Crown prosecutors will not appeal the acquittal of Gerald Stanley.

Deadline to file appeal was Monday

Crown prosecutors will not appeal the acquittal of Gerald Stanley.

Stanley is the farmer from the Biggar, Sask area who was found not guilty last month in the shooting death of Colten Boushie.

On Wednesday, the Saskatchewan office of Public Prosecutions said at a news conference it will not appeal the decision.

The deadline to file the appeal was Monday.
