Drivers in Saskatoon are being warned to slow down on the road this morning.

Parts of the Saskatoon area received more than 20 cm of snow over the weekend, leaving graders and sanding truck crews extra busy.

The heavy snow combined with high winds may cause icy sections and snow drifts on roads across the city. As a result, bridges, ramps and intersections may become slipperier than normal.

Crews are focusing on priority roads like Circle Drive and Idylwyld Drive.

All snow storage sites have been reopened to deal with the situation.

Commuters are being asked to budget extra time this morning and slow down. Blowing snow could cause road conditions to deteriorate quickly.
