Businesses in Saskatoon are reporting numerous cases of fraud involving American currency.

Police say the calls have come in over the past week after businesses accepted U.S. cash as payment.

Saskatoon police are advising business owners and staff to not accept a bank note they aren't comfortable with, and ask for another method of payment.

Anyone who sees any suspicious activity involving counterfeit bills is asked to call police, making notes on any details and description of the people involved.
