Environment Canada warns of severe thunderstorms, hail in Sask.

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms they say is bringing very strong wind gusts,hail and heavy rain to parts of Saskatchewan Monday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue Monday eveningalong a cold front pushing eastward across the province.

Some of these thunderstorms may become severe.

According to Environment Canada, ping pong ball-sized hail was reportedat Glaslyn at5:25 p.m. CSTand loonie-sized hail was seen at Chitek Lake at5:55 p.m. CST.

The severe thunderstorm warning includes:

• le la Crosse andBeauval, Sask.
• La Ronge - Prince Albert Nat. Park - Narrow Hills Prov. Park, Sask.
• Prince Albert - Shellbrook - Spiritwood - Duck Lake, Sask.

The weather agency alsosent out a severe thunderstormwatch on Monday.

The severe thunderstorm watch includes:

• City of Saskatoon, Sask.
• le la Crosse andBeauval, Sask.
• Kindersley - Rosetown - Biggar - Wilkie - Macklin, Sask.
• LaRonge- Prince Albert Nat. Park - Narrow HillsProv. Park, Sask.
• Martensville - Warman - Rosthern - Delisle - Wakaw, Sask.
• Meadow Lake - Big River - Green Lake -Pierceland, Sask.
• Moose Jaw -Pense- Central Butte -Craik, Sask.
• Outlook -Watrous-Hanley- Imperial -Dinsmore, Sask.
• Pelican Narrows - Cumberland House - Creighton, Sask.
• Prince Albert -Shellbrook-Spiritwood- Duck Lake, Sask.

Environment Canada is warning people to take shelter if there is threatening weather around them.

The heat and humidity in the area may make the thunderstorms more severe, it said.
