Some medical records allowed at Douglas Hales murder trial

Some of Daleen Bosse's medical records involving medication will beallowed as evidence at a Saskatoon murder trial.

Douglas Hales is charged with first degree murder in the death of the 25-year-old mother.Her body was burned and buried in a wooded area north of the city.

Hales' lawyer contends Bosse may have died of alcohol poisoning.

The court heard today from an undercover RCMP officer whobefriended Hales.

On a series of road trips with the accused murderer, the officer saidHales expressed derogatory views more than once about aboriginalwomen. At one point, court heard Hales bought drugs and alcohol for anaboriginal prostitute, then took her into the bush so he wouldn't haveto pay her for sex.

Hales is one of the last people seen with Bossebefore she vanished from a Saskatoon bar 10 years ago.
