The podcast wraps up with an exploration of the judge's decision on who killed Sheree Fertuck.

The Pit returns as the murder trial for Sheree's Fertuck's accused killer wraps up.

Police believe the 51-year-old Saskatchewan womanwas murdered by Greg Fertuck, her estranged husband, on Dec. 7, 2015.

Greghas beenon trial for first-degree murder at the court of King's Bench in Saskatoon since 2021.He has beenrepresenting himself sincehis defence lawyers withdrew mid-trial.

On June 14, 2024, the judge ruleson whether or not Gregis guilty of killing Sheree. Family and friends gather in court to hear his decision on the matter. The podcast team explores the fallout from the decision, as those who loved Sheree Fertucklook for ways to move on without her.
