No rest for coach

Hilltops coach Tom Sargeantwas at home watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders face off against the Ottawa Redbackson Sunday when reached for comment.

"You never knowwhen you can find another play," he saidat half-time.

As for his team's four-peat, "It makes you feel special about Saskatchewan football, Hilltop football and all the people that help to make that happen."

Sargeanthas been coaching the Hilltops for 20 years. He cites several factors for histeam's success this season, including the presence of 10 fifth-year players and a combined 100 years of experience among himself and the team's coaches.

"We've got a lot of belief in this organization, from the directors down to my coaching staff to the players, the parents, the support staff," Sargeant said.

That and, as his Sunday viewing habits indicate, a restless soul.

The first planning meeting for the 2018 season, which won't start until this coming August, is slated for Monday.

"It really never stops," he said.
