I think music has kept me going.- Marla Cole

Cole's dream will be the first granted in 2015.Her wish is to have a professional recording of herAmatiQuartet, something she has wanted for 12 years but has been unable to achieve.

"It's something to look forward to - it's a reason to keep going, to get out of bed and have something to work on," Cole said. "It gives me a real focus and I think that helps. That helps when you're trying to recover."

Cole is beginning to feel some numbness in her fingers as a result of her illness and treatment. Sothis wish will be a memorable keepsake for the talented musician.

"I think music has kept me going," Cole said. "The side effects are horrendous but you can forget them if you have something to do."

After the recording is released, Cole plans to donate all the proceeds from the CD to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.

This morning, at the official announcement, the quartet played, and talked about the recording process which is already in the works.
