Inmate 'considered dangerous' back in custody after escape in Turnor Lake, Sask.

RCMP say an inmate who was considered dangerous was recaptured after escaping custody during a court appearance in Turnor Lake, Sask.

RCMP have tracked downan inmate who escaped custody during a court appearance Wednesday morning.

The man was making a court appearance in Turnor Lake, Sask., whenhe escaped lawful custody around 11 a.m. CST. Police had advised that the inmate was considered dangerous, and people were warned not to approach him if he was seen.

The RCMP said the 26-year-old man was located and arrested around 9:35 p.m., though they did not indicate where he was arrested.

An earlier version of this story contained the name of the escaped inmate. Now that he has been recaptured, his name has been removed.
