Bill Steer, a.k.a. Backroads Bill, joined us for a chat about skiing and snowshoeing. He spoke to us about the appeal of both activities, and about the gear. He also shared some of the best spots in the north to use it.

When it snows, why not make for the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails?

Northeastern Ontario is known for both.

There are hundreds of kilometres of groomed trailsfor an activity that epitomizes wellness for mind and body, Steer said.There are also back-country trails for the more adventurous explorers.
